Jamuiyyat Tabliigh Da’awa Assalafiyya is a pioneering Islamic organization in Uganda, dedicated to spreading the authentic teachings of Islam through the Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him), as understood and practiced by the Salaf Swaleheen (righteous predecessors).

Since our founding in the early 1980s, we have grown into a nationally recognized body committed to da’awa, education, youth development, and community welfare. We are firmly guided by the principles of Salafism and work to uphold Islamic values in every part of our mission.

Our Beginning

Jamuiyyat Tabliigh Da’awa Assalafiyya was established in the early 1980s by visionary Sheikhs determined to preserve and promote authentic Islamic teachings. Their goal was to form a platform for religious outreach, education, and community unity based on the foundations of the righteous predecessors (Salaf Swaleheen).

Over the decades, the organization has expanded its reach across Uganda, becoming a hub of Islamic learning, moral guidance, and social support services for Muslims across all age groups.

Our Mission

To nurture a well-guided, disciplined and united Muslim community in Uganda that lives by the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah as practiced by the Salaf Swaleheen.

Our Vision

To align our interpretation and promotion of Islam as practiced by the Salaf Swaleheen (Rightly guided predecessors of Islam) to enable an all-round general development of the Muslim community in Uganda.

Our Core Objectives

What We Strive to Achieve

  1. To preach Islam and teach the Qur’an, to encourage Muslims practice their faith basing on true teachings and authentic sources and to persuade others to revert to Islam by all lawful means and to ensure the prevalence and protection of all religious rights and privileges as envisaged by laws of Uganda and international
  2. To organize the Islamic guide field in Uganda and to open administrative centers for the propagation of Islam, to operate schools to promote technical and industrial education, support and establish other viable projects for the welfare of all Muslims
  3. To promote the spiritual, moral and material wellbeing of Ugandans especially through the provision of health care and counseling services, including clinics, hospices, and HIV/AIDS prevention educational programs to deter progress of the scourge and other killer diseases among
